1. This Review petition is filed by the petitioner for correction in para 7 of the order dated 24.06.2025 passed by this Court in WPC No.
2 3146 of 2025.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that government notification is required only in cases of change of name and not correction of name. Therefore, he prays for necessary amendment in para 7 of the order dated 24.06.2025 passed by this Court in WPC No. 3146 and 2025.
3. Para 7 of the order dated 24.06.2025 passed by this Court in WPC No. 3146 and 2025 reads as under:
7. Considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case and also the law laid down by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the matter of Jigya Yadav (supra), it is
directed that the petitioner shall submit afresh application in the office of the CBSE along with all requisite documents including the affidavit and Govt. Gazette notification within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order and on such application being filed the Respondent no. 1 and 2 shall decide the application in accordance with the law and in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the matter of Jigya Yadav (supra), within a further period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the application.”

4. On due consideration and for the reasons mentioned therein I am inclined to allow this Review Petition and para 7 of the order dated 24.06.2025 passed by this Court in WPC No. 3146 of 2025 will now read as under:
