ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:
“….to issue a writ, order or direction especially in the nature of Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ declaring the action of the respondents No. 2 to 4 in not registering F.I.R against the 5th and 6th respondents and there men, on the complaint dated 12-6-2019 and 25-6-2019 given by the petitioner, is illegal, arbitrary and contrary to Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 and Art 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents No. 2 to 4 to register F.I.R on the complaints dated 12-6-2019 and 25-6-2019”

Learned counsel representing Sri T.V.Jaggi Reddy, learned counsel for the writ petitioner present.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on written instructions would submit that subsequent to writ petition, police registered a case in Cr.No.140/2019 for the offence U/secs.498-A, 506 r/w.34 IPC and sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 on 07.07.2019 of Katrenikona Police Station, East Godavari District, against the persons mentioned in the report presented by the writ petitioner and investigated into the case. In that view of the matter, the writ petition has become infructuous, as FIR was registered as sought by the writ petitioner.

4. The writ petition was filed alleging that police did not register FIR basing on the report dated 12.06.2019 presented by the writ petitioner.

In the light of submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home as per written instructions would disclose that police registered FIR vide Cr.No.140/2019 dated 07.07.2019 basing on the report dated 12.06.2019 against the persons mentioned in the report. In that view of the matter, this Court is of the considered opinion that no further orders are required in the writ petition and the writ petition can be closed.
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, interlocutory applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
