The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kunda P.S. Case No. 52 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 18, 27 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum- Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Chatra. 3. On 28.10.2024, at about 03:00 a.m., Kunda Police apprehended co- accused Jogendra Kumar Ganjhu from village Margada and on search, 1 kg and 220 grams of opium was recovered from his possession. 4. It was submitted that though the petitioner is named in the F.I.R, but his name has come on the basis of confession of co-accused Jogendra Kumar Ganjhu. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. 5. Mr. Bhola Nath Ojha, learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Chatra in connection with Kunda P.S.
