Heard Ms.Sudhanagunta Swetha, learned Counsel for the petitioners and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the respondent– police are insisting that the petitioners appear before them at the instance of respondent Nos.4 to 6 in connection with the agricultural land dispute, which is purely civil in nature. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the police have never interfered in the civil dispute or in the personal liberty of the petitioners. It is further submitted that when the Investigating Officer attempted to issue notices under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., the parties did not cooperate with the investigation in Crime No.184/2023 of Giddalur Police Station, registered on 09.05.2023 under Section 160 IPC, and the Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Considering the submissions made by both sides, the Writ Petition is disposed of. The respondent–police are directed not to interfere in the civil dispute between the petitioners and the unofficial respondents. There shall be no order as to costs.
