The petitioner has confined his prayer and prayed that the Block Development Officer, Block-Gangeeri, Tehsil-Atrauli, District Aligarh/respondent no.4 be directed to take a decision on the letter dated 29.04.2025 written by the respondent no.3-Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil-Atrauli, District Aligarh, copy of which is appended as annexure-8 to the writ petition. 2. On the other hand it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that respondent no.4 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. 4. In view of the order proposed to be passed herein, no useful purpose would be served by putting the private respondent to notice and keeping this petition pending before this Court. However, in case private respondent feels aggrieved by the order his/her right to seek modification/variation of the order is being kept reserved. 5. With the consent of counsel for the parties, present writ petition is being disposed of at the admission stage. 6. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.4 to take a decision in the matter expeditiously strictly in accordance with law after providing opportunity of hearing the parties concerned and without granting unnecessary adjournment unless there is no legal impediment.
