This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the following relief:
“…to issue a writ, order or direction, preferably a writ in the nature of Mandamus, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, declaring the action of the respondents in interfering or attempting to interfere with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner in respect of land admeasuring Ac.300 cents in Survey No.620-7 of Rachapalle Village, Ramanappalem, Makavarapalem Mandal, Anakapalli District, assigned to the petitioners father Late Sri Munuru Gaviresu vide Assignment Order bearing D.C.No.568185, as illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable and violative of Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with or dispossess the petitioner from the said land till the petitioners name is mutated in the revenue records in respect of the said land and Pass…”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. 3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that while the Form-6A application filed by the petitioner for mutation of his name is pending, instead of considering the said application, the respondents are now trying to dispossess the petitioner and are interfering with his possession. Hence, the present writ petition. 4. The learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents on instructions from the 4th respondent has submitted that the said application has already been considered and the petitioner was directed to submit an online application for mutation in the web land records. The petitioner was also directed to submit the family member certificate (FMC) and

death certificate vide endorsement dated 06.10.2025. It is further submitted that if the petitioner submits the relevant documents, the authorities would consider the same in accordance with the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971. Further, he also stated that the respondents are not interfering with the possession of the petitioner. 5.
In reply to the said contentions, the learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of the Court that pursuant to the endorsement passed by the 4th respondent on 06.10.2025, the petitioner has already made an online application on 16.12.2024 and also has submitted all the relevant documents. 6. Considering the said submissions made by both the learned counsel, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the application and all the relevant documents and take appropriate action under Form-6A application within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. As far as dispossession is concerned, already the Government Pleader made a statement based on the instructions that the respondents-authorities are not interfering and not dispossessing the petitioner from the subject land. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
