19 IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH 235 CWP-15593-2021 (O&M) Date of decision: 22.05.2025 Darshna and another ...Petitioners VERSUS Union of India and others ...Respondents CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD S. BHARDWAJ Present :- None for the petitioner(s). Mr. Ashish Chaudhary, Sr. Panel Counsel, for respondent(s) No.1 to 3-UOI. Mr. Arshit Goel, Advocate for respondent No.5. ***** VINOD S. BHARDWAJ, J. (Oral) The instant writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents No.1 to 4 to release all the amount and service benefits to the extent of 2/3rd share to the petitioners and further amount of Rs.12,50,000/-, wrongly transferred in favour of respondent No.5. Reply on behalf of respondent No.4 has not been filed. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.5 contends that the instant writ petition has been rendered infructuous as all the service benefits have been proportionately released between the petitioner as well as the private respondent(s). The instant writ petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioner to seek revival of the present petition, if the aforesaid statement of learned counsel for respondent No.5 is found incorrect. (VINOD S.
