PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order : The Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity ‘the BNSS’) by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 8 for granting of pre-arrest bail in connection with Crime No. 30 of 2025 of Settur Police Station, Anantapur District, registered for the alleged offence punishable under Section 118(1) read with 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. 2. 3. The Petitioners/ Accused Nos. 1 to 8 have allegedly beaten the defacto complainant and others in relation to a dispute over piece of land. Originally one Ramanajaneyulu got two wives. The Petitioners and the defacto complainant and others are the children of the two wives. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the defacto complainant and others suffered
only simple injuries. After completion of investigation, a Charge Sheet has been filed on 11.09.2025 and C.C number is awaited. The Petitioner/Accused No.1 also lodged a report in Crime No.29 of 2025 of Settur Police Station, ! Ananthapuramu District. After registration of that crime, the defacto complainant gave report and same was registered in Crime No. 30 of 2025 of Settur Police Station. The alleged offence is punishable below 7 years. 4.
Considering the facts and circumstances, the gravity and nature of the allegations levelled the Petitioners and there is a case and counter case in relation to the land dispute, this Court is inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the Petitioners/ Accused Nos. 1 to 8. I

In the result, the Criminal Petition is allowed with the following conditions: In the event of arrest of the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 8, they shall be enlarged on bail subject to their executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the arresting police officials; The Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 8 shall make themselves available for investigation as and when required; The Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 8 shall not cause any threat, inducement or promise to the prosecution witnesses; The Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 8 shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned once in a week i.e., on every Saturday between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., till filing of the charge sheet. I.
11. IV. The Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 8 shall not leave Andhra Pradesh limits without the Station House Officer concerned. Vi.
