I +z7 ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A2, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.6/2025 of Anakapalli Town Police Station, Anakapalli district. 2. A case has been registered against the Petitioner herein and others for the offences punishable under Sections 20 (b) (ii) (c) read with 8(c) and 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,1985. 3. Case of the prosecution in brief 'ls that On 06.01.2025, at about ll.00 AM, on credible information, the Sub-Inspector Of pol'lce, Anakapalli Police Station, along with his Staff and mediators, rushed to main road near Ramapuram Village, found Al to A5 'ln possession and illegal transportation Of 3 Kgs of Ganja in Orange Colour Scooty. The contraband along W'lth vehicle and other material was seized under cover of a mediators report and a case has been registered against the accused. 4. Heard. Perused the record. I 2 5. A perusal of the material on record goes to show that the contraband allegedly sel-zed by the police from the possession of the accused is 3 Kgs of Ganja, which I'S a non-commercial quantity. The petjtjoner/A2 was arrested on o6.01.2025 and since then he is judicial remand.
