The Deputy Commissioner and others Mr. Gopala Binnu Kumar Ms. Vinita Devi … for the petitioner Ms. Babita Das … for the respondents July 01, 2025 [Manoj] Item No.5 It is the grievance of the petitioner that in the year 1983, he was allotted Plot No. 1134 in Prothrapur under Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsil. Subsequently, however, the petitioner was informed that the said land belongs to the Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI), and he was asked to vacate the said land. The petitioner alleges that although the Administration had assured him that alternative land would be allotted in his favour, no steps have been taken in that regard till date. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that a representation dated June 02, 2025, has been made by the petitioner seeking allotment of another plot of land. However, the said representation has not yet been disposed of. In view of the above, WPA/300/2025 is disposed of with a direction upon respondent no. 1 to consider the petitioner’s representation dated June 02, 2025 (appearing at page 16 of the writ petition), in accordance with law, within a period of two 2 months from the date of communication of this order. The writ petitioner shall be afforded an opportunity of hearing by respondent no. 1. A reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter. ( Kausik Chanda, J. )
