Heard Sri Shiv Veer Singh, learned counsel for petitioners and learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State- respondents. 2. By way of the present writ petition, a direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere in peaceful marital life of petitioners, has been sought. 3. At the time of concluding the other arguments, learned counsel for petitioners confined his argument only for seeking extension of police protection to petitioner nos. 1 and 2 to obtain her educational documents/certificates which are at present under the custody of respondent no. 4 (father of petitioner no. 1) at his residence of respondent no. 4. 4. Learned counsel for petitioners suggested that if in any case for specific period of time, police protection be extended in favour of the petitioners, the same shall be helpful in future also, since at present petitioner no. 1 is not having any educational documents/certificates, which are required at each and every forum for verification of educational qualification pertains to petitioner no. 1. 5. Considering the innocuous prayer as made by learned counsel for the petitioners, Senior Superintendent of Police, Saharanpur is hereby directed to ensure one Sub-Inspector along with a lady Head Constable, who will escort the petitioners on 20.05.2025 from their arrival at Office of Superintendent of Police, Saharanpur for obtaining and receiving the educational documents/certificates from respondent no. 4-Shamshad S/o Sultan, R/o Nagal Road, Umahi Kota, Police Station Nagal, District Saharanpur and after due receiving the educationsl documents/certificates, police protection will continue up to the mode of conveyance adopted by the petitioners for Delhi from Saharanpur. 6. However, it is made clear that this above mentioned protection shall be applicable for dated 20.05.2025 only. 7. Registrar (Compliance) is hereby directed to ensure service of this order upon the Senior Superintendent of Police, Saharanpur for necessary compliance 8.
