Golder … for the petitioner Mr. S.C.Mishra … for the respondents June 16, 2025 [AKB] Item No.4 This writ petition is filed seeking direction upon the respondent authorities to provide electricity connection to the dwelling house of the petitioner standing in Sy. No. 1/P situated at Sagwan Nala, Kalsi village, Bakultala under Rangat Teshil, North and Middle Andaman. The petitioner contends that she approached the respondent authorities by way of an application on 15.04.2025 for installation of electricity connection in her dwelling house. However, the said application has not been accepted by the respondent authorities. Hence this writ petition. Mr. S.K.Golder, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the matter may relegated to the respondent authorities for considering the prayer of the petitioner for installation of the electricity connection in her dwelling house upon submission of proper application. Mr. S.C.Mishra, learned advocate appearing for the respondent authorities submits that the petitioner never approached the respondent authorities by submitting any application for getting electricity connection in her dwelling house. However, if such application is made, the respondent authorities shall take appropriate steps in accordance with law. In view of such submission the writ petition being WPA/242/2025 is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to submit appropriate application in proper form before the respondent authorities, who upon receipt of such application shall consider and dispose of the application of the petitioner for installation of electricity connection in her dwelling house within a period of one month from the date submission of such application. With the aforesaid direction the instant writ petition is disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. All connected application, if any, stand disposed of.
