1. This is the 昀椀rst bail application 昀椀led under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) for grant of regular bail to the applicant who has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 63/2025 registered at Police Station- Station House O昀케cer, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Ambikapur, District- Sarguja (C.G.) for the o昀昀ence punishable under Section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1989.
2. The present bail application has been 昀椀led against the order of the Trial Court whereby the applicant’s prayer for interim bail, sought on RAHUL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by RAHUL DEWANGAN
2 the ground of his niece’s marriage scheduled for 24.11.2025, was rejected. Learned State counsel pointed out that the said order was passed only on the limited issue of interim bail and not on merits, therefore, the present bail application does not survive and has become infructuous.

Learned counsel for the applicant is at liberty to 昀椀le an appropriate regular bail application before the Court concerned, and the Trial Court shall be at liberty to consider and decide the same on its own merits.
4. In view of the above, the present bail application is accordingly dismissed as infructuous, with the aforesaid liberty reserved to the applicant.
