Learned AGA accepts notice for Respondents No.1 to 4. 2. The Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: I. Issue a Direction to the Respondents directing the Respondent Nos. 2, 3 and 4 to provide police protection to the Petitioner in implementing the judgement and decree passed in O.S. No. 3610/1998 against V. Ashwathappa and V. Gopalappa and confirmed in R.F.A No. 131/2007 and R.F.A No. 2388/2006 in respect of Survey No. 6/1A of Kodigehalli Village, Yelahanka Hobli, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:44382 WP No. 29935 of 2025 Bangalore North Taluk measuring 2 Acres vide Annexures - E and F; II. Issue a Direction to the Respondents directing the Respondent Nos. 2, 3 and 4 to provide police protection considering the Circular dated: 14/11/2018 bearing No. CRM-3/105/2018 issued by the Office of the Directorate General and Inspector General of Police, Karnataka titled 'Guidelines to be followed by Police Officers while dealing with disputes and matters related to land and buildings' vide Annexure - N; III. Grant such other orders or further reliefs that this Hon'ble Court deems fit and appropriate in the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity. 3. Though the aforesaid reliefs have been claimed for, essentially the grievance is that the representation dated 22.05.2024 submitted by the petitioner to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Amruthahalli, Bengaluru, for providing police protection has not been considered. 4. Whenever any representation is submitted to the police authorities, the same is required to be considered and necessary orders passed within a reasonable period of time either accepting or rejecting the request made. Needless to say if a - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:44382 WP No. 29935 of 2025 rejection order is passed, it ought to be accompanied by reasons. Neither having been done, I pass the following: ORDER i) The Writ Petition is allowed. ii) Respondent No.4 is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 22.05.2024 at Annexure-M within a period of one week from the date of submission of the representation along with annexures by the Petitioner and pass necessary orders thereon. iii) Petitioner is also directed to furnish one more set of the said representation along with all annexures to the Respondent No.4. iv) The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the same would be submitted within a period of one week time from today. v) IA Nos.1 and 2 of 2025 are allowed.
