This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents for non-payment of the bills for the works undertaken by the petitioner. 2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the 2nd respondent invited tenders for the works viz., (i) supply and delivery and placing of MS Iron manholes at damaged places located in 7th to 13th division in KMC, for Rs.95,340/-, (ii) supply, delivery and placing of ms iron manholes at damaged places located in 31st to 34th division in KMC, for Rs.95,340/-, (iii) supply and delivery and placing of MS iron man Holes at damaged places located in 35th to 37th divisions in KMC, for RS.95,740/-, (iv) supply and delivery and placing of MS Iron Manholes at damaged places Located chakrapani hospital road bhanugudi 5th division in KMC for Rs.95,340/-, (v) providing tiles flooring and painting & electrical works in santhanapuri colony in 3rd division for -3- W.P. No.30532 OF 2025 Date of order: 05.11.2025 Rs.6,99,739/-, (vi) providing balance work of PVC False ceiling and wall putty and minor repairing works of community hall at china settibalijapeta at 3rd Division for Rs.9,04,793/-, (vii) construction of cc culverts at 4th street of Swamy Nagar in 42nd division for Rs.91,222/-, (viii) providing M.S. Iron grills for culverts at Venkataratnapuram in 32rd division for Rs.86,329/-, (ix) Restoration and repairing of reading room in boat park, for Rs.3,28,626/-, (x) Gravel filling club for sides bers at corts complex in 37th Division for Rs.1,29,629/-. The petitioner was awarded the said work orders. 4. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed the work to the satisfaction of the 2nd respondent. It is further submitted that after execution of the works, the competent authority recorded the progress of the work in the M-Books, upon which the petitioner has submitted respective bills aggregating to a sum of Rs.26,21,698/-. The competent authority approved the said bill, but so far no payment has been made to the petitioner. 5. The learned standing counsel for the 2nd respondent, on oral instructions, submits that the work undertaken by the petitioner was completed to the satisfaction of the 2nd respondent and the bills forwarded to the competent authority to approve the same. 6. Considering the submissions that the work completed by the petitioner is not in dispute, there shall be a direction to -4- W.P. No.30532 OF 2025 Date of order: 05.11.2025 respondents 2 and 4 to verify and release the payment due payable to the petitioner within a period of six weeks. 7.
