This writ petition is pending since 1999 i.e. about 2 and a half decade. The petitioner has filed present writ petition seeking a direction for payment of salary for the post of Assistant Teacher, with effect from 01.10.1989 in pursuance of a G.O. dated 06.09.1989. 2. When petitioner has filed this writ petition, he was about 33 years old and at present, petitioner will be about 60 years old. 3. It is not on record whether petitioner has served during pendency of this writ petition or not. 4. No counter affidavit is filed till date. 5. In the aforesaid circumstances, even in absence of counsel for petitioner, since averment made in this writ petition has not been countered, therefore, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation/direction that claim of petitioner will be considered in accordance with law and in case, there is any legal impediment, the same shall be informed to petitioner.
