It appears that a complaint was made to the Director General of Police against one Sub Inspector Jeevan as he appears to have filed a preliminary enquiry report stating that no case is made out against the accused persons. 2. In view of the order dated 19th March, 2025, passed in CRR/20/2025 by which the Investigating Officer was directed to file a final report before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Port Blair. 3. I do not find any reason to pass any direction upon the Director General of Police for investigation against the earlier Investigating Officer. It is for the authority to decide on the complaint made against the Sub Inspector Jeevan. 4. Mr. D.C.Kabir, learned senior counsel appears on behalf of the accused persons and opposed the prayer. However, I am not inclined to hear the accused persons at this stage. 5. The writ petition fails. However, there shall be no order as to costs. ( Soumen Sen, J. )
