The Petitioner being an aspirant for MBBS medical course appeared for NEET UG 2025 examination on 04.05.2025 at Vijaya PU College conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), the sole respondent. 2. The OMR sheet results were published on the website so that students can compare their performance. Apprehending that the OMR published by the NTA did not belong to her, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3. On 23.07.2025, the learned Deputy Solicitor General of India, Sri Shanthi Bhushan H, had produced colour Photostat copies of the attendance sheet and the OMR sheet of the petitioner along with carbon copy of the same. However, the petitioner insisted for production of original OMR sheet on the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:30096-DB WP No. 21637 of 2025 ground that she had raised contention in the writ petition which could be answered only if the original OMR sheet was made available. At the instance of the petitioner, this Court called upon Sri Shanthi Bhushan H, learned DSGI to produce the original OMR sheet of the petitioner. Today Mr.Vimal Kumar Singh, Office Assistant of NTA has produced the original OMR sheet in a sealed cover which has been opened by this Court and given to the petitioner to compare the original OMR with the colour Photostat and the carbon copy given to her on 23.07.2025. 4. The petitioner having satisfied herself that there is no difference between the colour Photostat and the carbon copy with the original OMR produced now, wants to withdraw this writ petition. 5. Though we are allowing withdrawal of the writ petition, but we strongly deprecate the unfounded and wild allegations made in this writ petition and warn the petitioner to desist from making any such allegation in future. We should have dismissed the writ petition with exemplary cost but for the fact the petitioner is an young student. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:30096-DB WP No. 21637 of 2025 6.
