GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 5 and 6 herein in threatening to arrest the petitioner in Cr.No.01 of 2021 on the file of the Nellimarla Police Station, Nellimarla, Vizianagaram District is illegal, 2 void, without jurisdiction, violative of principles of natural justice, violative of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and also violation of the Andhra Pradesh Police Manual Standing Orders and consequently direct the respondents herein not to resort to such highhanded and illegal action against the petitioner.” 2. Sri Rambabu Devavarapu, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Police are threatening to arrest the Petitioner. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that in view of the interim order dated 05.02.2021, the Police have proceeded with the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2021 on the file of Nellimarla Police Station, Vizianagaram District, concluded the same and filed charge sheet in C.C.No.1088 of 2025 on the file of the Court of Special Judicial First Class Magistrate (Excise), Vizianagaram, wherein, the Petitioner is not shown as an Accused. 4. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
