The Court made the following: RNT, J CRP No.216 of 2025 2 THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE RAVI NATH TILHARI CIVIL REVISION PETITION No. 216 of 2025 JUDGMENT: Heard Sri C. Prakash Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the material on record. 2. The petitioners are the defendants in O.S.No.24 of 2024 pending in the Court of XVI Additional District and Sessions Judge, Nandigama. The plaintiff/respondent herein filed the said suit for recovery of Rs.1 crore towards compensation for causing damage to the reputation of the plaintiff in the society and for causing mental agony and financial loss, with interest @12% per annum and for consequential reliefs. 3. The said suit was registered and the learned Court issued summons/notices returnable by 12.12.2024. On receipt of the notices in the said suit, the petitioners have approached this Court by filing this revision petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the learned Court has no territorial jurisdiction to entertain the suit. 5. The said objection can be raised before the learned Court. The petitioners, instead of filing an appropriate application before the Court concerned raising such objection, have approached this Court directly. 6. This Court, in the exercise of jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, is not inclined to interfere with registration of the suit by the learned Court at this stage. RNT, J CRP No.216 of 2025 3 7. The Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
