The petitioners have preferred the present petition with the following prayer:- "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 21.08.2024 (Annexure No.1 to the writ petition), passed by Presiding Officer, Labour Court (4), Kanpur Nagar on Application 18-D preferred by Chief Conservator of Forest, Kanpur Nagar in Case no. 18 of 2021 (Ashok Kumar Vs. Chief Conservator of Forest and others) under section 2-A of U.P. Industrial Dispute Act, 1947." 2. After some arguments, Sri Surya Bhan Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the petitioner/State confined his prayer only to the effect to direct the Presiding Officer, Labour Court (4), Kanpur Nagar/respondent No.1 to decide the Case no. 18 of 2021 (Ashok Kumar Vs. Chief Conservator of Forest and others) filed under section 2-A of U.P. Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 expeditiously. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case and without interfering with the order 21.08.2024 passed by Presiding Officer, Labour Court (4), Kanpur Nagar, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.1/Presiding Officer, Labour Court (4), Kanpur Nagar to decide the Case no. 18 of 2021 expeditiously but without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties, if there is no legal impediment.
