ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:
“….to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent police in summoning the petitioner to the police station and interfering with civil disputes in relation to the land admeasuring to an extent of Ac.7-65 cents situated in T.S.Nos.2012, 2143 and 2677, Anantapur Town as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with the possession and enjoyment of the property by the petitioner and pass……”
2. It is submitted that Sri Sai Saran Chodisetty, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Sri S.Sri Ram, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the cause in the lis does not survive as on the day, as police completed investigation and laid charge sheet before the concerned Magistrate, and later, a Criminal Petition was also filed in this Court for quash of the proceedings. 3. In that view of the matter, no further orders are required in the writ petition at this length of time. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home is in attendance. 5. The submissions of the learned counsel for the writ petitioner are recorded. 3
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed at the stage of admission, without going into the merits of the case.
