The present application has been filed for quashing of the entire proceedings of Case No. 2623 of 2022 (Computerized Case No. UPFT040035152022) (State Vs. Gaganendra Singh) arising out of Case Crime No. 23 of 2021, under Sections 323, 354, 504, 506 IPC, P.S. Gajipur, District Fatehpur. 4. There is no dispute between the parties as regards amicable settlement between the parties. Certified copy of the compromise is already on record. Original compromise has been verified by the court concerned on 25.06.2025. The said order is on record along with the supplementary affidavit. 5. Considering the nature of allegation, the aforesaid verification and following the law laid down by Hon'ble Supreme Court in Nikhil Merchant Vs. Central Bureau of Investigation and another: (2008) 9 SCC 677 and Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab and another: (2012) 10 SCC 303, the application deserves to be allowed. 6. The application is allowed. 7. The proceedings of aforesaid case are hereby quashed.
