JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 4 28-01-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. 2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sahiyara P.S. Case No. 111 of 2019 registered for the offence under Section 272, 273, 118 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. 3. As per the prosecution case, the recovery is of 720 liters of illicit liquor. 4. The petitioner’s name has come in the self- inculpatory confessional statement of the co-accused. 5. Considering the recovery of huge quantity of illicit liquor and the materials available against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Patna High Court CR. MISC. The petitioner is directed to surrender and pray for regular bail within four weeks from today and if the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail then the same shall be considered by the Special Judge in view of the fact that the petitioner was not caught on the spot.
