Prayer in the instant civil writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondents No.3 and 4 to make reference of Mutation No.2978 in the jamabandi and cancellation of mutation No. 3962. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied at this stage in case a time bound direction is issued to respondent No.2- the District Collector, Hoshiarpur to decide representation dated 06.09.2024 (Annexure P-8) submitted by the petitioner.
