IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK CONTC No.5514 of 2025 Sourav Mallick …. Petitioner Mr. Ranjit Samal, Advocate -versus- Maheswar Sahoo, District Education Officer, Jajpur …. Opp. Party Mr. D.N. Lenka, AGA CORAM: JUSTICE MRUGANKA SEKHAR SAHOO Order No. ORDER 06.03.2026 (Hybrid Mode) 03. 1. The learned counsel for the petitioner refers to the order dated 02.02.2026 to submit that the opposite party was to file affidavit regarding compliance of the order dated 27.10.2022 passed by the coordinate Bench in W.P. (C) No.27842 of 2022. 2. In response, the learned Additional Government Advocate submits that compliance affidavit sworn to by opposite party has been filed. Copy of the said affidavit has been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. The affidavit dated 26.02.2026 filed by the opposite party is on record. In the said affidavit the details of steps taken for compliance have been indicated. The deponent has tendered unconditional apology for the delay in complying with the order. 4. It is submitted by the learned AGA that inadvertent typographical error has crept into paragraph 14 of the compliance affidavit wherein ‘unintentional’ instead of ‘unconditional’ has been typed which may read as ‘unconditional’. 5. In view of the above, the CONTC petition is dropped. The petitioner if so advised shall have liberty to challenge the order dated 24.02.2026 on merits passed by opposite party annexed to the compliance affidavit marked as Annexure-A/3.
