Suresh, leaned counsel appeared for respondent no. 4; and Mr. Ningtamba, learned counsel appeared for respondent nos. 3 & 5. It has been submitted by Md. Fakhraruddin that the petitioner has received the Commutation and Gratuity Pension and also the monthly pension due payable to the petitioner in terms of the direction given by this Court, according to the learned counsel, the direction given by this Court was to released the Commutation and Gratuity Pension within 2 months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the order. The learned counsel submitted that the certified copy of the said order was furnished by the petitioner to the concern authority on 30.10.2024 and as the Commutation and Gratuity Pension was released by the authority only on 28.02.2025 which is more than 2 months from the date of received of certified copy of the order passed by this Court, the petitioner 2 is entitled to get the interest as directed by this Court for the month of January and February, 2025. In my considered view, the submission advance by the learned counsel is too technical and as such, this Court is of the view that the respondents has duly complied with the direction given by this Court.
