This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the highhanded action of the Respondents in failing to grant compensation to the petitioner on par with neighbouring landowners and in demolishing petitioner house/shop in Sy.No.418-2 in Vemareddypalle, Fl/o. Obula Devara Cheruvu Village and Mandal, Sri Satya Sai District, without adequate payment and/or hearing as being illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory, contrary to settled legal principles. unsustainable and unconstitutional and consequently direct the Respondents to forthwith pay compensation to the petitioner on par with neighbouring/adjacent landowners for the property in Sy.No.418-2, Vemareddypalle, together with interest at the statutory or judicially recognised rate, from the date of deprivation of possession/demolition until the date of actual payment, and pass…”
2. Heard Sri C.B.Adarsh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner appeared through virtually, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue and learned counsel representing for respondent Nos.6 and 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that already she made applications for enhancement of the compensation under Section 3(5) of the National Highways Act, 1956 (hereinafter referred as ‘the Act’) on 19.06.2023 and 09.10.2023.
4. In view of the same, the respondents concerned are directed to consider the representation/application filed under Section 3(5) of the Act and pass appropriate orders within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
