This is an office reference. 2. This Court, vide order dated 10.05.2024 passed in MCRC No. 1454/2024, while allowing the bail to the applicants, namely, Surendra Singh and Mahesh Singh had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also, this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 10.05.2024. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Saraipali District- Mahasamund (C.G.) vide its request letter dated 23.09.2025 has requested for grant of further four months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that the matter is listed for securing the presence of the accused, Mahesh, a resident of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. An arrest warrant had been issued against him, however, due to his continued absence, further proceedings in the case could not be completed within the prescribed time. It is humbly submitted that upon securing the presence of the accused, the remaining proceedings will be conducted expeditiously and the case disposed of at the earliest. In view of the above, it is most respectfully prayed that the present request be kindly allowed and an additional period of four months be granted for completion of the remaining proceedings. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
