ADDL ADVOCATE GENERAL 3 CMR,J & GTK,J W.P.No.27847 of 2025 The Court made the following: ORDER: (Per Hon’ble Sri Justice Cheekati Manavendranath Roy) Challenging the order of preventive detention dated 10.09.2025 passed against the detenu, the instant writ petition has been filed by the wife of the detenu. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader attached to the office of learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that based on the orders of the advisory board, the detenu was already released and the Government, by way of G.O.Rt.No.1920 GAD (SC-I) Department, dated 17.10.2025, passed an order of revocation of the preventive detention. He has also placed on record the said G.O.Rt.No.1920, dated 17.10.2025. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner also, on instructions, submits that the detenu was released and revocation order was passed as per the aforesaid G.O. 4. In that view of the matter, nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication. 5. Therefore, recording the aforesaid submissions made by both learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
