The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-
“….to issue any writ, order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in withholding the payment of bill amount of at amount incurred by the Petitioner for the completion of works is about Rs. 3,62,314/- (Rupees Three lakhs sixty-two thousand three hundred and fourteen only) even after finalizing the bills payable to the petitioner in relation to the execution of works executed in Rentapalli village of Pullalacheruvu Mandal Prakasam District., as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to consider for the payment of amount along with interest 18 percent per annum from the date of execution of the work to the account of the petitioner and pass…”
2. Today when the writ petition came up for hearing, Mr. M. Narendra Babu, learned counsel representing Mr. N. Srinivasa Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that as the amounts payable to the petitioner have already been paid pending the writ petition, no further orders are required in the writ petition. 3. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
