JUSTICE SACHIN SHANKAR MAGADUM ORAL ORDER This petition is filed by the husband and mother seeking quashing of the proceedings pending in Crime No.26/2025 pending on the file of 6th Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bengaluru City, for the offence punishable under Sections 85, 352, 351(2), 115(2) read with section 3(5) of BNS, 2023.
2. Today, the husband, mother-in-law, and respondent No.2/wife are present before this Court. A joint affidavit has been filed by the husband and respondent No.2/wife, wherein it

HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:39181 CRL.P No. 13626 of 2025 is stated that respondent No.2 has rejoined her husband and they are now happily leading their marital life. Respondent No.2 is present before this Court and, on being queried, she confirms that a settlement has been arrived at, she has resumed cohabitation with her husband, and they are living together harmoniously. Recording her statement, this Court finds it appropriate to quash the proceedings.
3. For the foregoing reasons, this Court passes the following:
ORDER i. The criminal petition is hereby allowed; ii. The proceedings in Crime No.26/2025 pending on the file of the VI Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nrupathunga Road, Bengaluru City, insofar as the petitioners are concerned, are hereby quashed.
