1. Heard Mr. Saket Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr. Shreyansh Mehta, learned Panel Lawyer for the State/respondent/s.
2. By this instant petition, the petitioner has prayed for following relief(s):
“10.1. That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly call for records pertaining to case of the petitioner bearing case No.07/B-121/2016, in the interest of justice.
10.2. That the Hon'ble Court may kindly direct the respondent authority to decide the case no. 07/ B-121 / 2016 preferred by the petitioner at the earliest, in the interest of justice.
10.3. That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly direct the respondent authority to provide the records of the case No. 07/ B-121/2016, to petitioner, in the interest of justice.
10.4. That, any other relief, which this Hon'ble Court may deemed just and fit in
facts and circumstances of the case.”
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an application for eviction of tenants was filed before the Rent Controlling Authority, Ambikapur way back in the year 2016 and the same has not been decided till date.

4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State/respondents appearing on advance notice submits that subject to due verification and scrutiny of the claim of the petitioner, appropriate steps shall be taken at the earliest within a period of 60 days.
5. Given the statement made by the counsel for the State/respondents, the writ petition at this juncture stands
disposed of directing the respondent No.1/Rent Controlling Authority, Ambikapur to ensure that the application filed under Section 12 of the Chhattisgarh Rent Control Act, 2011 by the petitioner in respect of the eviction made by the petitioner be decided within an outer limit of 60 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
