The instant writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking the following main prayer:-
“…….declaring the action of 3rd respondent in issuing proceeding No. RC.NO. 1252 /B 1 /2 0 1 6 dated 05-05-2016 by informing the 3rd respondent that compassionate appointments cannot be granted in aided colleges as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to provide the petitioner with job under compassionate grounds by quashing G.O.Ms.No.35 and pass such order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper.…….”
2. On 27.10.2025, this Court passed the following order:-
“No representation for the petitioner(s). List the matter next week under the caption ‘for dismissal.”

Today, despite the matter being listed under the caption for dismissal, none appeared for the petitioner. 4. The principal grievance of the petitioner in the instant writ petition is that the compassionate appointment of the petitioner is being denied by the 3rd respondent. 3
5. Sri V. Adinarayana, learned Assistant Government Pleader for School Education, while forwarding a copy of the proceedings dated 24.12.2019 issued by the 4th respondent, submits that consequent to the proceedings dated 21.12.2019 of the Regional Joint Director Intermediate Education, Kadapa District, the petitioner namely Sri B. Ramesh was informed to report to duty to the principal on or before 30.12.2019 and subsequently, he had joined the duty on 24.12.2019 as Junior Assistant against aided Vacant Post under the compassionate ground. Making the said submission, he submits that the cause in the writ petition does not survive. 6. Having regard to the submissions made and in view of the fact that there is no representation from the petitioner’s side, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, by making the proceedings dated 24.12.2019 of the 4th respondent as part of the record. No costs.
