The petitioners seek a writ of mandamus directing the respondent, Development Authority, to execute free-hold deed in respect of Plot No.221, Swaraj Nagar, Panki, Kanpur Nagar having an area of 300.96 square meters in favour of the petitioners in terms of free-hold scheme of Kanpur Development Authority, Kanpur and to decide their representation dated 22.10.2024 filed in this behalf. 2. Shri A.P. Paul, learned counsel for KDA very fairly states that the representation would be decided by respondent No. 3 and if any approval is required, the matter will be placed before the appropriate Authority. 3. Accordingly, we dispose of the writ petition with direction to Kanpur Development Authority, Kanpur to take appropriate decision in the matter within eight weeks from the date of communication of the instant order along with a fresh representation.
