By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution petitioner has prayed for following substantial reliefs: "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding and directing the respondent No. 2 to promote the petitioner on the post of Senior Assistant and further grant the Pay Grade of 2800/- to the petitioner from the date Juniors to the petitioner have been granted promotion to the post of Senior Assistant and Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/-. ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding and directing the respondent No. 2 to decide the representation dated 15.10.2024 submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, after affording the opportunity of hearing to the petitioner." 3. It is submitted that petitioner has already made representation before the respondent No. 2 in the above regard on 15.10.2024 which may be directed to be decided in accordance with law. 4. Learned counsel appearing for respondent does not have any objection in the event direction is issued to the respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law. 5. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondent No. 2 to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a period of two months from the production of certified copy of this order.
