1. By the present petition, the petitioners have prayed for following reliefs:-
“CRMP No. 3312 of 2025 : (filed by petitioner, who is husband of respondent No.2) (i) Quash the FIR No.34/2022 (Annexure-P/1), registered at P.S.-Frezarpur, District-Bastar for offence under section 498-A of the IPC. (ii) Quash the Final Report No. 37/2022 dated 15/03/2022 (Annexure-P/2) filed against the petitioner for the offence punishable under section 498(A) of IPC. (iii) Quash the orders dated 20/09/2022 and Memo of Charge (Annexure-P-5) passed by the Court of Learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Jagdalpur District Bastar
3 (CG) whereby charges punishable under section 498-A of IPC has been framed against the Petitioner and the Application compounding of offence was rejected. iv) Quash the entire Criminal Proceedings in Criminal Case no. 584/2022 (State of CG v. Arvind alias Avinash), pending before JMFC, Bastar, Place-Jagdalpur. (v) Grant any other relief deemed fit in the facts and circumstances of the case.
“CRMP No. 3353 of 2025 (filed by petitioner, who is father-in-law of respondent No.2) (i) Quash the FIR No.30/2021 (Annexure-P/1), registered at P.S.-Frezarpur, District-Bastar for offence under section 354 and 509-A of the IPC. (ii) Quash the Final Report dated 22/03/2021 (Annexure- P/2) filed against the petitioner for the offence punishable under section 354, 509-A, 354-A of IPC. (iii) Quash the order dated 3/9/2021and Memo of Charge (Annexure-P-3) passed by the Court of Learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Jagdalpur District Bastar (CG) whereby charges punishable under section 354, 509-A, 354-A of IPChas been framed against the Petitioner. 4 (iv) Set aside, the order dated 20/9/2022 (Annexure P-5) whereby application under section 320 (2) & 320 (8) of the Cr.P.Cfor compounding of offence was rejected. (v) Quash the entire Criminal Proceedings in Criminal Case no. 633/2021 (State of CG v. Hirendra Pal), pending before JMFC, Bastar, Place-Jagdalpur. (vi) Grant any other relief deemed fit in the facts and circumstances of the case.”
2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the mediation dated 17.11.2025 between the parties is successful and the mediation report is on record. 3. For the sake of convenience, it would be appropriate to reproduce the contents of mediation report dated 17.11.2025 which reads as under:-

4. In view of the above submission made by the counsel and looking to the mediation report itself that mediation is successful between the parties, both the CRMPs are allowed, subject to fulfillment of terms and conditions of the mediation report dated 17.11.2025

6 • in CRMP No. 3312 of 2025 FIR bearing Crime Number 34/2022 registered at P.S. Frezarpur, District Bastar C.G. for offence under Sections 498 A of IPC; final report No.37/2022 dated 15/03/2022; and order dated 20.09.2022 passed in Criminal Case No. 584/2022 including consequential proceedings pending before the learned JMFC District- Baster, against the petitioner (who is the husband of respondent No.2) are hereby quashed; and • in CRMP No. 3353 of 2025 FIR bearing Crime Number 30/2021 registered at P.S. Frejarpur, District Bastar C.G. for offence under Sections 354, 509-A of IPC; final report dated 22/03/2021; and order dated 20.09.2022 passed in Criminal Case No. 633 of 2021 including consequential proceedings pending before the learned JMFC District-Baster, against the petitioner (who is the father-in-law of respondent No.2) are hereby quashed.
