ORAL ORDER
1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs; a. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate
order or direction directing the respondent to lawfully consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 13th of December 2024, as annexed at ANNEXURE A.
b. Pass any other order that this Honourable Court may deem fit under the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity"
2. A short grievance of the petitioner is that an error has crept into the encumbrance certificate issued in respect of the property of the petitioner, in as much as in the coloum indicating the purchaser’s name, the name of the petitioner who is the purchaser the name of the seller has been shown and despite a representation having been submitted on 13.12.2024 at Annexure-A for correction of said error, no action has been taken.
3. Having gone through Annexure-C it is clear that in the coloum showing the name of the purchaser, both

the name of the petitioner who is the purchaser and the seller has been shown, which can be evidenced by the sale certificate at Annexure-E.
4. There is obviously a mistake which has been committed in data entry process by respondent. As such, I pass the following;
ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed. ii. A mandamus is issued, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.12.2024 at Annexure-A and effect the necessary corrections within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
