BY ITS EXECUTIVE OFFICER, GOVINDAPURAM VILLAGE, CHILAKALURIPET MANDAL, PALNADU DISTRICT. ...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased topleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of Respondents 2 to 6 in permitting the installation of donor-name plaques, including the family-tree plaque affixed on the principal Garbha-Gruha doorway of Sri Bhimeswaraswamy Vari Temple, Govindapuram Village, Chilakaluripet Mandal, as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional, and violative of Articles 25 and 26 of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the respondents to ensure that the temple premises, particularly the principal doorway of the sanctum sanctorum, are preserved and maintained strictly in accordance with Hindu customs, traditions, and the provisions of the Endowments Act, and further direct the respondents to forthwith remove the donor-name plaques, including the plaque fixed above the Garbha-Gruha entrance, and restore the traditional sacred inscriptions of the deity and religious chants and pass IA NO: 1 OF 2025 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased pleased to direct the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders the petitioners representations dated 11-09-2025, pending final disposal of the above Writ Petition and to pass Counsel for the Petitioner(S): 1. Challenge in the writ petition is to the action of the respondent Nos.2 to 6 in allowing the inscription of the names of the donors at the main entrance of the sanctum sanctorum, of Sri Bhimeswaraswamy Vari Temple, Govindapuram Village, Chilakaluripet Mandal. 3. It is stated that in the said regard, the petitioners made a representation to the respondents on 11.09.2025. No orders on the said representation have been passed. 4. Having regard to the fact that the representation has been pending before the respondents for consideration, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation filed by the petitioners dated 11.09.2025 within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of the order. 4 5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
