The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayers :- "(i) To issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 may be directed to permit and give requisition for vacancies in the Institution for initiating the Selection Process. (ii) To issue a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 2 and decide the representation dated 16.11.2024 pending before him." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that representation dated 16.11.2024 of the petitioners is pending consideration before respondent no.2. The direction may be issued for expeditious disposal of the same. 4. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-State submits that representation of the petitioners would be decided in a time bound manner. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby directed that representation dated 16.11.2024 of the petitioners pending before respondent No.2 be decided expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 6. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. 7. It is clarified that this Court has not decided the issue on merits and the authorities concerned shall independently apply its mind and pass order in accordance with law.
