3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions of the 3rd respondent dated 08.10.2025, submitted that the 4th respondent filed CRP No. 1530 of 2024 before this Court, and an interim stay was granted on 25.07.2024, which is still pending. As the matter is purely civil in nature, the police did not interfere. Further, the 3rd respondent advised the petitioner to settle the matter before this Court.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader that the matter is of civil in nature and that an
interim stay was ordered by this Court in CRP No. 1530 of 2024 filed by the 4th respondent, police could not interfere in the matter. This Court is of the considered opinion that the petitioner has to seek necessary directions for police protection in the above CRP, as stay was granted in that matter. Hence, this Writ Petition is liable to be closed without going into the merits of the case.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed at the stage of admission, without going into the merits. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, interlocutory applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
