The petitioner has availed an education loan and due to Covid 19 pandemic and other difficulties, he could not repay the loan amount. The petitioner was also having health issues as evident from Ext.P1. Thereupon Ext.P2 notice was issued by the bank directing the petitioner to appear in connection with the Drive for reducing the overdue in the loan account with the bank and for settling the amount due in the loan account. Thereupon Ext.P3 request was submitted by the petitioner before the respondent bank. 3. Though notice was issued to the respondent bank, there is no appearance on their behalf. Taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances, I am inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the 2025:KER:28056 W.P.(C). No.13333 of 2022 : 3 : respondent bank to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 request with notice to the petitioner, within an outer limit of one month from the date of receipt of this judgment.
