and unjust and consequently direct the rd respondent to issue necessary orders for allotment of the above said land by receiving the market value of Rs. 20,000/- as fixed by the Sub-Registrar, and to grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hontle Court deems fit and proper in the drcumstances of the case. The Court made the following Order:
The petitioner had sought allotment of Ac.0.10 cents of land, in Sy.No.1964/1/4 of Pulipadu Village, Gurazala Mandal, Guntur District, for the purpose of setting up an industrial unit. This application, made by the petitioner in 2009, was taken up. After due verification, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Gurajala, Guntur District, had addressed a letter, dated 19.04.2012, to the District Collector, Guntur, submitting alienation proposals for allotment of the aforesaid Ac.0.10 cents of land in favour of the petitioner by taking a market value of the land at Rs.2,00,000/- per acre. 2. It appears that the General Manager, District Industries, Central vide the letter, dated 15.04.2013, had also forwarded the application of the petitioner to the Revenue Divisional Officer, who reiterated his earlier recommendation, to the District Collector, by way of his letter, dated
17.05.2013. However, the District Collector had not been taking any steps in this regard. 3. The petitioner being aggrieved by the inaction of the District Collector in considering his request, has approached this Court by way of the present Writ Petition. 4. In view of the aforesaid facts, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Collector to consider the request of the petitioner and to pass orders in accordance with law, preferably within a period three months from the date of receipt of this Order.
