The petitioner was arraigned as A.2 in Crime No.157 of 2025 of Tuni Police Station, Kakinada District, registered for the alleged offences under Sections 7(B) read with 8(B) & (C) of the A.P. Prohibition Act, 1995, on the complaint of the 2^*^ respondent. 3. The petitioner, a general merchant, is duly registered under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime and is the proprietor of Sri Raja Rajeswari Traders. It is submitted that the petitioner is engaged in the trade of jaggery and has been conducting business in compliance with tax regulations. 4. It is further submitted that A.1 purchased jaggery from the petitioner, and the alleged illicit activities involving the said jaggery are solely attributable to A.1. The petitioner had no knowledge of such activities and was merely engaged in a bona fide commercial transaction. 5. Considering the submissions, the Station House Officer, Tuni Police Station, Kakinada District, is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.157 of 2025 without taking coercive steps CRL.P. No.4842 of 2025 is order would not preclude the charge sheet or final report after .
