Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that despite respondents No.9 to 18 having violated certain provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999 and despite the petitioner having informed about the said violations to the Enforcement Directorate vide Annexures P-8 and P-11, no action has been taken by the Enforcement Directorate against the petitioner’s representations. 2. Since the violations under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999 can be taken cognizance of only by the Enforcement Directorate, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of this petition with a direction to the Enforcement Directorate-respondents No.2, 3 and 4 to look into the aforesaid representations of the petitioner (Annexures P-8 and P-11).
