In compliance of earlier order of this Court, learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions in the matter and placed the same before this Court, which are taken on record, copy of which is also supplied to the learned counsel for the petitioner. As per instructions, petitioner was issued with show cause notice and a preliminary enquiry report was submitted to the authority concerned on 3rd March, 2025 on the basis of which prima facie allegations made against the petitioner were found to be proved and it is on that basis petitioner has beenput into motion of disciplinary proceeding. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record and other documents brought on record alongwith instructions, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter of suspension at this stage. However, Petitioner shall be served with chargesheet within a period of three weeks from today and soonafter receiving the chargesheet as directed hereinabove petitioner shall be submitting reply to the same before the Concerned authority within a period four weeks. If petitioner submits reply as directed hereinabove, the departmental inquiry shall be brought to its logical end in the next six weeks' time after due participation and cooperation of the petitioner in the departmental inquiry. After departmental enquiry is brought to its logical end, the disciplinary proceeding will be thereafter concluded within next two months.
