Mr. Om Prakash Shukla, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his mother died on getting infected by COVID-19, in the line of duty. His client made claim for compensation of Rs. 50,000,00/- under Government Order dated 11th April, 2020. Said claim received by the office on 11th November, 2020 as has been disclosed at annexure 4. The authorities have been calling for report after report to, in effect, deny the compensation. 2. Mr. Fuzail Ahmad Ansari, learned advocate, Standing Counsel appears on behalf of State and submits, he will obtain instructions. 3. We do not require issuance of instructions. Instead, respondent no.3 (the District Magistrate) is directed to inform petitioner about decision taken on the claim. This must be done within three weeks from communication of certified copy of this order, to be made by petitioner along with copy of his claim, to said respondent. 4.
