Case of the petitioner is that a contract, for the facelift of a building in the premises of Govt. Ayruvedic Hospital Indra Chowk Jammu, duly approved by the concerned came to be allotted in his favour vide Order No. 82 DISM of 2020 dated 19.02.2020. He completed the allotted work within the stipulated timeline and to the satisfaction of the respondents and part payment was released in his favour. However, according to the petitioner, an amount of Rs. 92,972/- has been withheld by the respondents without any lawful justification. 02. Mr. Rupak Ratta, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied if the respondents are commanded to consider the release of balance payment in favour of the petitioner within a timeframe. 03. Having regard to the limited nature of controversy, the present petition is admitted to hearing and disposed of at the threshold with a direction to the respondents to consider the release of balance amount in 28 2 WP(C) no. 3078/2024 favour of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date a copy of this order alongwith copy of the writ petition and documents annexed therewith are supplied to them. 04.
