The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition with the prayer to grant the license of fair price shop in favour of the petitioner being legal representative/nephew of his deceased-uncle Raghuveer Singh. 2. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that after the death of fair price shop dealer namely Raghuveer Singh, who died on 16.05.2024, the petitioner being his nephew submitted an application for grant of license in his favour. It is argued that being family members of the deceased and in view of the Government Order dated 05.08.2019, the petitioner is entitled for consideration of his case for grant of license of fair price shop. It is argued that considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no decision has been taken in the matter. 3. On the other hand, it is argued that in case, the petitioner will submit fresh application before the concerned-respondent, he will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to file fresh representation along with relevant documents and certified copy of this order before the concerned respondent within a period of three weeks from today. In case, the petitioner do so, the concerned respondent will take a decision in the matter strictly in accordance with law most expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months thereafter.
