learned counsel for the applicant.
2. Mr. Siddharth Bisht, learned A.G.A. for the State.
3. Present applicant-Himanshu Kumar is praying for short term bail in relation to a FIR dated 23.02.2025 registered as FIR No. 56 of 2025 wherein the present applicant has been implicated for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340(2) of BNS at P.S. Kankhal District Haridawr.
4. The short term bail has been moved on the ground that the applicant’s younger sister is getting married and the marriage ceremony is scheduled to be held on 25.04.2025. In the short term bail application marriage invitation card is also enclosed.
5. Yesterday, the State Counsel was
directed to get instructions and verify whether applicant’s younger sister is getting married or not.
6. Today, on instructions, Mr. Siddharth Bisht, learned A.G.A. informed this Court that the marriage is scheduled to be held on 25.04.2025.
7. After hearing the submissions as advanced by the learned counsel for the parties and further taking into
consideration that the marriage of applicant’s younger sister is scheduled to be held on 25.04.2025 and being brother participation of the applicant is also essential, this Court is of the view that the applicant deserves short term bail for a period of two months.

8. Accordingly, the short term bail application is allowed.
9. Let the applicant Himanshu Kumar be released on short term bail for a period of two months, to be reckoned from the date of his release, on his executing a personal bond and furnishing two reliable sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
10. Needless to say on completion of period of two months, from the date of release, he shall surrender before the learned trial court. On such an event he will be remanded to the custody, if he does not surrender, proper warrant shall be issued against him.
